The beach at Gunjur (one of the local villages) is within walking distance of the camp. Largely deserted, apart from the occasional local, the beach is sandy and unspoiled. It’s possible to swim there, and also to buy a drink from the local juice bar.

Barbecues on the beach can be arranged – a lovely way to watch the sun go down!

A short walk along the beach will take you to the traditional fish market at Gunjur, where you can watch the colourfully painted fishing boats bringing in the day’s catch, see fish being sold, and perhaps taste a sample from the smoke houses.
